In Heroes of the Storm the next hero comes from Overwatch. It is Lucio.
Lúcio Correia dos Santos is coming to Heroes of the Storm. The DJ from Brazil will be the third Overwatch character in HotS, following Tracer and Zarya . This was announced by Blizzard via Twitter.
As with the previous heroes, Lucio in HotS will closely resemble Lucio from Overwatch. Abilities will be mirrored. What he can do in the shooter, he will also be able to do in the MOBA.
These are Lucio’s abilities in Heroes of the Storm
- Lucio can “Wall ride” in HotS.
- Lucio will be able to attack enemies with a cone-shaped beam and push them back (Q).
- He will have a passive effect on his allies. With W, he can choose whether to apply a speed buff or a heal buff to surrounding allies.
- He can further enhance this boost with E.
- In the ultimate, Lucio can choose whether to grant his allies a shield or slow down enemies and inflict a dot.
Lucio is expected to appear on the PTS soon.
In Overwatch, Lucio is considered one of the strongest heroes. It will be interesting to see where he will be ranked on the tier list in HotS:
