Recently, Blizzard published mysterious messages on the Overwatch website that left players pondering. It was clear that the developers wanted to hint at new content with the messages from the fictional press conference. Players speculated about a new map or a possible new hero for Overwatch.
Now Blizzard let the cat out of the bag: The new map Horizon Lunar Colony is now available on the test servers!
Horizon Lunar Colony – New map coming soon
On Overwatch’s PTR servers, you can now play the new Horizon Lunar Colony map. As you could already see in the video, the setting of this map is on the moon. The map belongs to the Assault type and is expected to be available in quick play and also in competitive play in the future.
A few days ago, Blizzard drew attention to the events of Horizon Lunar Colony. They showed the players messages from a fictional press conference that ranged from house arrest with gorillas to issues in ventilation shafts.
