The latest heroine Moira from Overwatch is now playable on the PTR. What she can do and what her skins look like, we reveal in this article.
Just a few days ago, the new Overwatch character Moira was introduced at BlizzCon 2017 and now she is already playable. The new healer leans more towards the dark characters who draw on life energy to heal allies. She is partly responsible for the development of Reaper’s “undead” powers, but also has a past with Mercy. She was likely significantly involved in the creation of the Caduceus Staff.
Now Moira is active on the PTR and PC players can try out the healer there.
We take a look at Moira’s abilities:
- Biotic Grasp: Moira’s left hand emits biotic energy with which she heals allies in front of her. From her right hand, she fires a long-range beam that drains the health points of enemies, heals Moira, and replenishes her biotic energy.
- Biotic Orb: Moira fires a rebounding Biotic Orb of her choice: it either regenerates the health points of allies it touches or deals damage to enemies around her.
- Fade: Moira quickly teleports a short distance.
- Ultimate – Coalescence: Moira channels a long-range beam that heals allies and deals damage to enemies. The beam penetrates barriers.
Additionally, all of Moira’s skins have now been released with the PTR. We don’t want to withhold those from you. The following skins will be available at the release of the new healer (Click to enlarge):
The skins can be obtained as usual in regular loot boxes or purchased directly for credits.
There is still no specific release date for Moira. The PTR phase will surely last 2-3 weeks before a release is on the horizon.
