LEGO set and Overwatch fans should pay attention. From now on, Bastion is also available as a LEGO set.
Weeks ago, Blizzard already announced a collaboration with LEGO and now the first products are hitting the market.
The first is the popular robot with the clunky product name “LEGO Overwatch Set Omnic-Bastion 75987”. This is a Bastion unit that players can also play in Overwatch or fight during the Omnic Crisis.
How big is the LEGO Bastion? The “Omnic-Bastion 75987” building unit consists of a total of 182 different pieces, so it should not pose a major obstacle even for LEGO beginners. The completed Bastion unit can even rotate its upper body. The arms are also movable.
Especially cool: Even the little bird Ganymede, who accompanies Bastion in the game, is included and finds its place on Bastion’s shoulder. Unlike the “original Bastion”, where Ganymede was yellow, this bird is red.
However: The LEGO Bastion cannot switch to “turret mode” – you would have to get creative during the rebuild.
How much does the Bastion cost? If someone wants to have an orange Bastion in block form, they have to place €25 at the Blizzard Gear Store. For LEGO, these are quite normal prices for licensed products.
Of course, such a LEGO Bastion would not only be something for kids but also for young-at-heart fans. And who doesn’t miss the feeling of stepping barefoot on a small LEGO brick?
More LEGO sets are expected to follow in the future, allowing you to expand your collection. However, how many there will ultimately be is still unknown.
What do you think of the LEGO Bastion? A cool thing for fans and their kids? Or do Overwatch and war machines like Bastion not belong with LEGO?
In addition to LEGO, there will soon be Overwatch breakfast cereals – the delicious Lúcio-oh’s!
