In Overwatch the Lunar New Year Event 2020 started and brings some new content. New skins for Brigitte, Sombra, and Lúcio are included. There are also challenges and a new game mode.
This is the event: The Lunar New Year runs until early February and brings four new legendary skins and three new epic skins.
Additionally, the Capture the Flag – Blitz mode is back in the Arcade. With the weekly challenges, you can unlock further content if you win nine games per week. So now is a great time to play if you are into cosmetic content.
Here are the new skins: Blizzard is not stingy with skins during the event and brings 4 legendary outfits. They are
- Opera for Brigitte
- Shapeshifter for Sombra
- Masquerade for Moira
- Samulnori for Lúcio
The three epic skins are
- Doomfist Skin Monk
- Winston Skin Ancient Bronze
- Wrecking Ball Skin Silhouette

How to earn the epic skins – Weekly Challenges
From the event from last year, Overwatch players already know the option to unlock more skins from the Lunar Event through weekly challenges.
For 9 wins per week, you unlock player icons, emotes, sprays, and at the end the epic skins.

- Win 3 games for player icon Jingang Doomfist
- Win 6 games for Doomfist spray Focus
- Win 9 games for Doomfist skin Monk
