All players will receive two poses for free after completing this year’s event. These are the “Toast” pose for Sombra and Bastion. The poses are already available on the Overwatch test server. The winning poses show how the two characters toast with a hot drink.
No matter who participated in the event – in January 2018, every player will receive the poses
Originally, these emotes were not supposed to be part of the “Winter Wonderland” event. However, some players saw these poses as advertising for the event. This led to the impression that the winning poses were also part of the event. There was a lot of confusion as to why these victory poses for Sombra and Bastion suddenly did not appear.
As compensation, all players will receive the two “missing” poses for free in January 2018, regardless of whether they participated in the event or not.
