Blizzard has unveiled five new skins for Overwatch. We will tell you which stylish skins will soon be available.
This coming Wednesday, the next patch for Overwatch will finally be released on the live servers. The latest update not only brings the long-awaited Blizzard World map, a theme park in Blizzard style, but also a lot of new and crazy skins for various heroes.
In the past few days, the developers have repeatedly revealed new, previously unseen skins. You can check out the five new skins in this short Twitter video:
- McCree – in an elegant combination of blue and silver, along with his “Deadeye” symbol.
- Reaper as a devil with horns on a new mask and summoning runes on the cloak.
- Junkrat as a demolitionist, additionally with the colors of a danger signal – that can’t hurt him either.
- Symmetra in even darker blue with some embellishments.
- Zenyatta as a “evil” omnic in black-green.
The skins featured in the tweet all fall under the “epic” category and are, as far as one can tell, recolors of the standard skins, with particularly nice embellishments. They will each cost 250 credits and can be found starting tomorrow, January 23, 2018, in the regular loot boxes – after the patch goes live.
Cortyn thinks: To be honest, the skins don’t wow me as much anymore, but that’s probably just because I’ve become quite spoiled. At least I like McCree’s skin quite a bit; I will probably regret it when I have the others in a loot box – one is never satisfied. However, having more items in the loot boxes in the future is definitely a good thing.
How do you like the new “epic” skins? Nice variations of the already known skins? Or are they boring without any additional extras?
We have already introduced new skins for Lúcio and Hanzo here!
