Anyone who wants to try out Overwatch has the opportunity this weekend – completely free on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. Blizzard has announced a “Free Weekend”.
If you haven’t been able to get Overwatch in your gaming hands yet but would like to test it, keep your weekend free. For a few days, you can try out Blizzard’s hero shooter, with almost no restrictions, and you can indulge in all game modes.
The free weekend starts on Friday, November 18 at 8:00 PM and ends on Tuesday, November 22 at 1:00 AM.

This is what the free weekend offers you
Throughout the entire weekend, you will have access to most of Overwatch’s features. You can test all 22 heroes and heroines and dive into battle on all 13 maps. All game modes such as Quick Play or the weekly Brawl are available to you. You can level up your account and grab loot boxes.

If you enjoy Overwatch so much that you want to buy it, you won’t lose these progressions. You can keep everything you earn on the weekend. The only thing you cannot earn during the weekend are trophies and achievements.

Another note for console players: The trial version is only available to players with a valid PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold membership. Also, console and PC players should start the download as early as possible; the download will take a whopping 12 gigabytes.
