Overwatch is full of Easter eggs and references to other games – a few of which have now been found.

Overwatch takes place in a future version of our real world, so what could be more appropriate than hiding some references to various Blizzard games in the maps? Because the developers never miss a chance for an Easter egg, that’s exactly what happened. On the Hanamura map, there are some arcade machines in the safe zone that showcase some characters that make players roll their eyes in amusement.
The game “Fighters of the Storm 2”, a beat ’em up, which is clearly inspired by Heroes of the Storm, lets Kerrigan face Garrosh in a duel. Could this perhaps even be a little spoiler for an upcoming hero for Heroes of the Storm?
But other consoles are also full of references. One device features “Super Siege Mode 3”, in which a StarCraft 2 siege tank is controlled. On the last console, “The Lost Vikings VI” is available. This does not present the 3 lost Vikings as Blizzard’s ancient game, but rather the Viking units from StarCraft 2, resembling the mini-game that Raynor could play in the base version of the strategy hit.
Overall, the world of Overwatch is full of references – in the intro cinematic, a guard plays Hearthstone and at other locations Murloc merchandise is offered.
