D.Va reaches new heights through a bug in Overwatch – fans of the 3vs3 mode are up in arms.
The latest patch of Overwatch has not only brought the current event “Year of the Rooster” and some balance changes but also implemented several bugs and errors into the game. In addition to the Wasp Waist of Mei, D.Va in particular has to deal with a problem on the map “Ecopoint: Antarctica”.
Numerous players have complained that D.Va behaves strangely in the “3vs3” team deathmatch. Whenever D.Va is forced to leave her mech due to too much damage, she is typically thrown several meters out of it and can then continue fighting in humanoid form – not so on Antarctica. Here, D.Va is teleported directly far, far away, beyond the edge of the map. There, she faces a deep fall, which ultimately leads to her death.
Blizzard is aware of the error and has already hotfixed the servers yesterday afternoon. By now, the Korean should no longer venture to places that should not be explored either with or without a mech.
Since the last updates, some things in the game’s physics seem to have changed. For instance, Roadhog players keep reporting that the victims of their hooks – when they die at the moment of being caught – fly away with a hefty boost in all directions.
We have more curious incidents in the “Play of the Game” moments of the week.
