The Eternal Dispute of the Shimada Brothers
The third of four announced cinematics for Overwatch has just been released on the official game website. This time, it revolves around the two heirs of the powerful Shimada clan. Long ago, the clan was the training ground for master assassins who generally used their services for protection and good. However, in recent centuries, the clan has transformed into a criminal empire, generating profits primarily from shady drug trafficking and illegal arms trading.
After the current head of the clan died, it was up to his sons, Genji and Hanzo, to carry on the legacy – but Genji refused this task and lived a life as a playboy. Hanzo tried for a long time to persuade his brother until he lost patience and ultimately killed him. At least he thought so. But those who are said to be dead often live a little longer…
What all this has to do with the dragons that both characters can summon as their ultimate ability in Overwatch, and how the conflict between the two unfolds, you can find out in the new cinematic “Dragons,” which you can watch here.
