At BlizzCon 2017, there will be a gigantic Overwatch loot box. But what will be inside?
BlizzCon 2017 is only a few weeks away and will surely provide all fans with plenty of new information about World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Overwatch, and more.
In advance, Blizzard has released the exact schedule for BlizzCon, so all viewers can already plan which shows they want to watch live. Since all show titles also have a small description, something immediately caught the eye of the Overwatch community.
At BlizzCon, a “gigantic loot box” will be unpacked on stage, namely on November 4 at 1:15 AM. According to the description of the Virtual BlizzCon ticket, the following will happen:
“Help our fearless hosts as they try to uncover the secret hidden in the gigantic Overwatch loot box that sneaked onto the Epic Stage.”
The “Epic Stage” at least suggests that the opening of the gigantic loot box will not involve a new hero. Because the major announcements will primarily take place on the “Mythic Stage” and the “Legendary Stage”. The Epic Stage, on the other hand, is more for community-related activities.
What is in the gigantic Overwatch loot box?
There are several theories about what the contents of this loot box might involve.
- Some say on Reddit that it might contain cosplayers who – like the stripper from the cake – will showcase some skins that will soon be available in the game and perhaps even be given as a “loyalty gift” to the active community.
- Other players expect something absurd: Like Jeff Kaplan in a funny cosplay or Terry Crews. Because … it’s Terry Crews.
- Still, others think it’s just a “filler event” where either goodies will be distributed to the attendees or some special merchandise series will be revealed.
