Basketballs are not actually killing tools. In Overwatch they are doubly mean.
Junkrat, the explosive basketball star
If you played the open beta of Overwatch last weekend, you probably had your virtual life lights blown out in an amusing way more than once. One of the most amusing methods was recently reported by Kotaku. In some spawn areas of the different maps, you can find basketballs that can be tossed around with shots and melee attacks. The interesting thing: the character Junkrat can place both his bear trap and his mine on the ball.
In combination, you then have a bouncing, deadly ball that you only need to carry to the enemy team with some skill. Once the trap snaps shut, Junkrat manually detonates the mine – Boom! Tracer is already lying in the dust.
This method is obviously a bug, as normally you cannot remove the objects from the spawn area – but placing the mine and trap apparently causes this rule to be overridden.
