Anyone who wants all the skins from the current Overwatch event has to be quick. Some are only available for a week!
Last night (10/15/2019), the annual Halloween Horror event started in Overwatch. For 3 weeks, players can earn new skins, emotes, and other cosmetic items that are only available during this time.
In 2019, there are a total of 8 new skins that players can earn. But you should be careful! Not all skins are available from loot boxes this time. Instead, there are again weekly challenges that must be completed if you want to grab some of the special skins. Each week there is a different skin to earn.
Which skins are new in 2019? 6 of the new skins can be drawn from loot boxes. Here they are:
More skins for challenges: In addition to the skins in the loot boxes, there are 3 additional skins that you can earn through the weekly challenge:
- Week 1: Infernal skin for Junkrat
- Week 2: Vampire skin for Baptiste
- Week 3: Demon Hunter skin for Sombra
The Sombra skin was available before. Now all players have a new chance to obtain this skin again.
What do you have to do for the challenges? Completing the challenges is simple. You just need to win 9 games within the respective week. This is possible in all game modes. You can freely switch between Ranked, Quick Match, or Arcade, whichever you prefer.
How long is the event active? The Halloween event started yesterday on October 15th and runs until November 4th. You have time to earn the skins from loot boxes or defeat Junkenstein’s terror reign.
