Blizzard has released a new update with version number 1.11 for PS4 players of Overwatch, which mainly does one thing: fixes bugs.
The last patch 1.10 has just been released and provided all players with a horrific Halloween event. Update 1.11 has been quickly released to address some bugs that have troubled PS4 players. The download size of the patch is relatively small at 100 MB; we have translated the changes and patch notes, which can also be viewed in the PS4 update history, for you.
Patch Notes 1.11 Overwatch
General
- Fixed a bug that did not save individual settings upon restarting the game.
- Downed enemy players no longer lose their red outline.
Heroes
- Fixed a bug that caused Bastion’s projectile to be fired backward in the setup: Sentry mode.
- Fixed a bug that incorrectly displayed Hanzo’s sonar arrow when selecting the Scatter Arrow ability.
- Fixed the issue where Mercy’s staff was shown in some highlight intros while wearing the Valkyrie skin.
- Fixed a bug that displayed Tracer’s highlight intros in lower quality in the highlight menu.
- Fixed a bug that allowed Widowmaker to use her grappling hook on basketballs.
- Symmetra’s “Car Wash” achievement now lists the correct number of beams required to achieve it (6 instead of 7).
- Fixed a timing calculation issue that made Zenyatta’s “Rapid Discord” achievement harder to achieve than originally intended.
Maps
- Fixed a bug that healed players at the payload transporter even though they were hit by Ana’s Biotic Grenade.
- Fixed a bug that caused the health bar of the practice robots to not correctly display the effect of Ana’s Biotic Grenade.
- Fixed a bug that prevented using some sprays on the map “Eichenwalde”.
- Fixed a bug that caused heroes to appear in the sky when watching some highlight intros at “Volskaya Industries”.
