Another week done! As a reward, there’s an entire weekend for you to game to your heart’s content. But what do you have planned? Let us know what you want to play this weekend!
The weekend from April 7th to 9th promises at least here in Bavaria bright sunshine and ideal grilling weather. But who wants to grill all day? A few hours for gaming should always be in the cards! And for those who want to spend the whole day outside, at least mobile apps like Pokémon GO and Hearthstone or a Nintendo Switch can provide some fun.
Pokémon or Mass Effect?
If you enjoy nice weather while gaming, you might as well put some eggs in the incubator and leash your buddy Pokémon. Because long walks often bring cool rewards in Pokémon Go in the form of rare monsters or candies. On your way, you can also farm some PokéStops, shake up some gyms, and catch new beasts.
On the other hand, if you prefer gaming on PC or console, you can happily boot up Mass Effect: Andromeda. Bioware’s controversial sci-fi RPG recently received a significant patch, which mostly fixed the gruesome facial animations. Ryder is still Ms. Space-Pancake, but at least the emotionless eyes have been fixed, which significantly improves the atmosphere of the game!
Destiny – Enjoy the Triumph!
Also cool: Destiny – Age of Triumph! Until the launch of Destiny 2, you can enjoy your legend and play old raids again. As often as you want and with new loot! So enjoy your victories and your items while you still can, before everything goes to hell in Destiny 2!
There’s also an air of departure in Final Fantasy 14. The Stormblood expansion is coming soon, and players are already busy preparing for the big expansion. This can be done optimally with a guide that we’ve linked here for you.
What is the editorial team playing?
We from the Mein-MMO editorial team also have quite a few games on our radar that we want to play this weekend. Here’s our selection:
- Editor-in-chief Schuhmann can’t help it. Since he still doesn’t have all his heroes in Final Fantasy 14 at Stormblood level, he has to return to Eorzea this weekend and grind and shuffle items again. Besides, Hearthstone is on the agenda again, even if his last ten card packs were all trash! Maybe it will be better with Un’Goro…
- Ttime returns to his roots and is going to have a blast in Destiny with Age of Triumph. Numerous Atheons will be crushed under the armored feet of his titan, and the Glass Chamber will surely break more than once this weekend.
- Colleague Leya is once again wielding the witch’s broom and will make Ice Witch Eevie a nuisance in Paladins .
- Patrick’s devilish pact has been loosened a bit. So he can play a little GTA 5 Online besides Diablo 3 and cruise around in his restored car. Oddly enough, it’s an Infernus, the devil doesn’t seem to let him go that easily…
- Cortyn is currently trying to unlock flying in World of Warcraft. Moreover, it could well be that she travels back to Andromeda to inspect the new faces in Mass Effect: Andromeda.
Me, Jürgen, will not be in the country over the weekend, but on a short trip to Austria with my girlfriend. However, I will surely catch a few Pokémon and play a round of Hearthstone if my girlfriend spots a sale. However, if I were in the country, I would spend my time with Mass Effect: Andromeda besides grilling and pen & paper RPGs.
