An actor has indirectly revealed that he will play Chopper in the live-action series of One Piece. However, it is likely that another actor will also appear in the Netflix-series, as the actor will not fully embody the little reindeer.
Which actor will play Chopper? The role of Chopper will be taken on by a relatively unknown actor. Gavin Gomes has appeared in series and films such as Jet Trash, Black Sails, and Eraser: Reborn. Soon, he will be seen in the Netflix series of One Piece, as the reliable One Piece expert newworldartur confirms.
That Gomes is joining One Piece has not yet been officially announced. Rather, we know from his resume that he will take on the role of Chopper. However, although the role seems to be cast with Gomes, it is likely that another actor is being sought to play Chopper.

Several actors are being sought for Chopper
Why will there be another actor? Gomes will only play the “Heavy Point” version of Chopper. This is a form of the reindeer that he can take on thanks to the Human-Human Fruit.
Chopper can indeed take on several mutations. One of them is this human form, where he becomes a more muscular adult. Thanks to the Rumble Balls he developed, there are about 10 forms in which he can appear.
In his base form, Chopper is a small reindeer on two legs. Therefore, we assume that Gomes will not be seen very often, but only when Chopper is in battle or has to do heavy work.
Accordingly, other actors will still be sought for the other forms, especially for Chopper’s smaller base form. However, we believe that most of the forms will be created with the help of CGI technology or taken over by the smaller Chopper.
Through his Monster form, Chopper becomes a gigantic creature, for example. Here, we don’t believe that this form can be represented by a human.
In addition to the live-action adaptation, Netflix has commissioned a remake that aims to summarize the over 1,000 episodes of the anime. Thanks to a new video, we finally know how the anime, which is being worked on by Wit Studio, will look: A new remake of One Piece for Netflix shows first images and reveals how long the series is slated to run
