Chainsaw Man is available for free on YouTube for a few days. Fans of Anime can catch up on the series while it’s still available.
There are many crazy anime out there, but some still stand out from the crowd. One of them is the anime “Chainsaw Man”, which not only starts with a pretty wild premise but also doesn’t shy away from splatter elements and body horror. If this is your thing, you have a few days to enjoy the anime – as it is completely free on YouTube.
The movie for Chainsaw Man is coming soon:
What is Chainsaw Man about? The story of Chainsaw Man is set in modern Japan. From time to time, “Devils” manifest in the world, which must be taken down by professional hunters. The scarier a concept is, the more powerful the associated Devil becomes. A “tomato devil” poses little threat, but a gun devil
can devastate entire neighborhoods.
The young Denji is heavily in debt and has been selling parts of his body and working as a Devil Hunter for years. He manages this through his pact with the – more or less – friendly devil Pochita, a small dog with chainsaws for a face.
However, during one of his missions, Denji is ambushed, killed, and dismembered. Pochita grants him a second life and merges with Denji into a new creature – half human, half devil, Denji then becomes the “Chainsaw Man”, who is collected by the Public Safety Ministry to professionally hunt Devils. Denji can finally have a regulated life, but he constantly struggles with the primitive desires that his demonic nature now evokes.
Here’s the complete series: Chainsaw Man on YouTube
Why is the series available on YouTube? The entire first season of Chainsaw Man being offered on YouTube is due to a promotion by the anime streaming provider Crunchyroll. On October 23, the first movie of Chainsaw Man premieres in German theaters, and evidently, they want to attract a few additional moviegoers. Thus, the entire first season – essentially all the essential background knowledge for the film – is available on YouTube.
How long will the anime be available? Typically, “full anime seasons” are only available on YouTube for a few days, as this often means a clear loss for the provider. If you haven’t seen Chainsaw Man yet, you might want to binge-watch the roughly 5 hours of the first season this weekend. That way, you’ll be perfectly prepared for the movie release.
Cortyn says: Chainsaw Man is one of those anime that will definitely be remembered. Whether it’s for the splatter brutality, the bizarre personalities in the story (like Power), or the mercilessness with which even disgusting scenes are depicted. If you don’t know Chainsaw Man yet, prepare for a wild ride and maybe don’t eat anything during it – because by episode 7, you’ll lose your appetite. You’ve been warned.
If you are just starting your anime journey, you might want to establish a basic collection first. Here we have 5 anime that every fan should have on their shelf. And don’t worry: Some of them you don’t even need to watch…
