What is Disco Elysium about? You step into the role of a detective and need to solve various cases within your neighborhood. Although saying you “need” to might be an exaggeration – as you can also choose to turn a blind eye.

Who is Disco Elysium suitable for? Disco Elysium is suitable for anyone who enjoys RPGs with immersive and detailed stories and likes to follow longer dialogues (voiced in English). Additionally, decisions have significant consequences in the game, and depending on which abilities you give your character, events in the game can unfold differently, leading to various paths to the goal. A bit of curiosity and a penchant for detective work should also be part of your skill set.
Who might not care for Disco Elysium? If you can’t deal with long texts and constantly seek action in the form of combat, you probably won’t enjoy Disco Elysium that much. Although it is an isometric RPG, combat is more of an exception, with social interactions taking center stage. While Disco Elysium has German text, the voices are only available in English.
