Discord is one of the most popular programs for conversations and voice chat. Although Discord can already be used on PS4 and PS5, the most important feature of Discord is missing on PS4 and PS5. On Xbox, you can now also use Discord voice chat, but the way there is a bit more complicated.

Discord on Xbox is available first for insiders and beta testers
How to get the update? The update will roll out starting today, July 20, 2022, for Xbox Insiders and will be available to everyone later. Depending on how well the update works, the official update will then also be pushed to all other users on their Xbox.
How to activate Discord on Xbox? Those who are already Xbox Insiders can open the guide with the Xbox button. Here, they select ‘Parties and Chats’ and go to ‘Try Discord Voice on Xbox.’
Here you will see an option to scan a QR code. The QR code will lead you to the Discord and Xbox apps to establish a connection between your Discord account and the Xbox. If you have already linked your Discord account with your Xbox, you will need to re-establish the link.
Once you have linked your accounts, a new option to join on Xbox will appear in the mobile Discord app. Now you just need the Xbox app to transfer the voice chat from your Discord account to the Xbox.
Once you have installed the app, you can connect the Discord voice chat with the Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One console.
