Initially Season 4 was supposed to start at the beginning of last week. But the start was postponed at short notice. Since then, it was officially unknown for how long. Only a leak mentioned a new start time for Season 4, but the leak was wrong.
Now it is finally official. CoD: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone have now announced a new start date along with a start time for the new Season 4.

When does Season 4 of CoD Modern Warfare and Warzone start? As Call of Duty just announced on Twitter, the new Season 4 will start tomorrow, June 11 – and quite early, at 8:00 AM German time.
The season launches simultaneously on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Why the postponement? At the end of May, African American George Floyd died during a brutal police operation in the USA. This led to unrest and massive protests in many major cities across the country. Many people have since taken to the streets in the USA for more justice and against racism and excessive police violence.
With the postponement, the developers took a stand on the recent developments in the USA – like many other companies in the USA as well. It was meant to create space for the “Black Lives Matter” movement by holding back their own announcements and actions.
How big will the download be: The download size could be a nasty surprise for players. The Community Manager had already warned that the download would be large. Leaks suggest a download size of nearly 50 GB for the update on Thursday morning.
What we already know about Season 4: There’s only a little concrete information available so far. Because not only was Season 4 postponed – the traditional roadmap, which is published shortly before the season starts, was also missing.
