Black Desert Online offers you a new feature that allows you to jump straight into the endgame. Read here everything about how you can start faster.
How do I jump directly into the endgame? If you want to try a new class in Black Desert at the endgame, you first need to level it up to Level 60. That can take quite a while. Trial characters are supposed to change that.
What are Trial characters? Now, there is a function that allows you to create so-called Trial Heroes. They start at Level 60 and are thus ready for the endgame. Or at least for some of the endgame features.

What can Trial characters do? You can create up to three Trial characters. If you already have all three, you will need to delete one to create a new hero. The characters can be chosen from all 17 classes of the PC version and start immediately at Level 60.
Additionally, they have:
- 3 x Expansion Coupon: Inventory +16
- Simple main and secondary weapon (awakening weapons are available separately)
- Body enhancement (battlefield)
- The talent book “Awakening Secret”
- 4,000 talent points to distribute freely
- 100,000 silver
You can then buy additional equipment from Haz in the arena. The equipment costs only 1 silver each. However, your Trial characters can only access the Combat Arena, the Red Battlefield, Arshas Arena, and the Cruel Rift. Additionally, you do not receive any rewards from the Cruel Rift. There are no bonuses when you duel with other heroes.
Trial characters are meant to find out how different hero types feel at Level 60. You also have the opportunity to improve your PvP talents with the Trial heroes. So you can experiment to your heart’s content and find out what suits you best.
What can Trial characters not do? Trial characters do not affect your family fame and, among other things, cannot receive attendance rewards, cannot use the mailbox, and cannot receive challenges, post investments, and guild bonuses.
As already mentioned, they are here to test and experiment, not as a replacement for your regular characters.
How are the Trial characters received by the fans? In the Black Desert forum, some players are favorably inclined towards the feature. After all, they have been asking for this feature for a long time, and the consensus is: “better late than never.”
In Korea, such test heroes have been possible for a longer time, and it is good that it is now happening here as well.
However, not everyone is thrilled about it. Some players criticize that the equipment in the shop is quite weak and that you have no chance against tough endgame heroes.
