The big NEXT update for No Man’s Sky (PC, PS4, soon: Xbox One) brings a multiplayer mode and an Xbox One version next week. A new trailer now shows what players can expect.
No Man’s Sky will receive a long-awaited multiplayer mode with the NEXT update next week. At the same time, the Xbox One version will also be released. A new trailer now introduces the new features of the update.
What’s in the multiplayer mode
Among other things, the new multiplayer mode brings these features:
- Explore the universe together with friends or encounter other travelers along the way
- You can help your friends or even raid them
- Build a shelter together or expand it into massive colonies
NEXT aims to take No Man’s Sky to the next level on July 26
This includes improved graphics, selectable first or third-person perspectives, unlimited base building, and commanding your own fleet. Friends can be invited onto your ship and challenging multiplayer missions can be accepted via the galactic quest station on the bridge.
The NEXT update will be available on PC and PlayStation 4 starting Thursday, July 26, and from July 27 in the rest of Europe on Xbox One.
