The Nintendo Switch 2 officially now supports cameras for multiplayer. MeinMMO explains which cameras work and which do not.

Nintendo had already explained beforehand that the Switch 2 should officially support most USB cameras. However, it doesn’t seem to be that straightforward. MeinMMO explains what we currently know and what you need to consider.
Nintendo Switch 2: Webcams that work
How did we create our list? MeinMMO has tested several cameras with the Switch 2, including the Logitech MX Brio (for testing), the official camera for the Switch 2, and the Logitech C920. We have included additional working cameras from the following Reddit thread. Currently, there is no official list from Nintendo (as of 10.06.25).
If there are further updates or new cameras, we will update the list for you.

While some users on Reddit report that the Logitech Brio 4K does not work, it runs perfectly fine for us in testing with the official Pro Controller cable.
Switch 2: Connect and test the camera
It’s that simple: Go to the settings on the Switch 2 and select the menu option “Controllers and accessories”. In the next step, select “Check USB camera”. If your camera works, you will see an image displayed from your camera.
