What do the data mean? “Minimum requirements” means that you can play the game at all. Often this means gaming in 720p (HD) with 30 FPS and low settings. Therefore, you should not expect too much.
Nightingale System Requirements in Detail: What Hardware Do I Need?
What graphics card is required? The game requires at least a GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 580. This is relatively old hardware. If you still have an RTX 3060 or RX 6600 from the last generation (graphics cards for around 200 Euros), you should have no problem playing Nightingale. Recommended graphics cards for under 400 Euros can also be found on MeinMMO.
Nightingale also offers upscaling features like DLSS and Intel’s XeSS. AMD’s FSR was temporarily removed due to issues but is expected to be added again later.
What are the other recommendations? The developer recommends an SSD for the game. From our own experiences, we know that you can start and play many games with SSD requirements even without an SSD. However, you should expect longer loading times. Many modern games rely on an SSD in their requirements. We will test whether the game starts from an HDD at release.
What alternatives are there? So far, there is no way to play Nightingale on Xbox or PS5. The PC is currently the only platform if you want to play the survival title.
