The developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare continue to maintain a high speed with the patches and have already announced the focus areas of the next update.
How is Modern Warfare doing? The first weeks of CoD: Modern Warfare were quite turbulent.
After a good start, more and more annoying small and large problems emerged, and the weapon balancing is particularly in the spotlight.
However, the developers are staying on it and have already announced content for the next patch on Twitter.
Tanks and Killfeed targeted in the next patch
What has been announced? A few focus areas of the next update are already known. David Mickner, one of the multiplayer designers at Infinity Ward, wrote about the packed killfeed.
The killfeed displays kills from the match on the player’s screen. Because, for example, savior or revenge kills are also displayed in the feed, there’s always a lot happening. This feed will be made clearer.
Additionally, tanks in the large mode “Ground War” are set to be nerfed. Currently, tanks have neither a tank nor ammunition limit and are too suitable for camping at certain spots.
725 remains on the kill list
What else is being worked on? Infinity Ward apparently wants to maintain a high speed for patches and is working diligently on bugs and balancing.
The shotgun 725 is still in focus here, as it apparently became even stronger after the last update.
Additionally, the bug with the Officer Rank challenges, which can lead to a crash loop, is at the top of the developers’ list.
Regarding the invincible knife warriors currently causing chaos in the lobbies, no official statement has been found yet.
What do you think about the newly planned changes? A step in the right direction again or is there something urgent missing for you?
