New World offers several professions that you can level up to level 200. In this guide, we at MeinMMO would like to explain how you can level Engineering particularly quickly and what special tricks you should pay attention to.
What does an Engineer do? With Engineering, you can craft 5 of the a total of 14 weapons from New World:
- Axes
- Bows
- firearms
- Muskets
- Spears
In addition to the weapons, the profession is also needed for tools and ammunition.
How to level Engineering effectively? The fastest and cheapest way to level is through weapons – especially through the firearm.
Leveling Engineering – Here’s how
From level 1 to 50: For the first levels, it’s best to craft the firearm from iron. You need 60 pieces for that:
- 1,680 Iron Ore
- 480 Lumber
- 120 Coarse Leather
Level 50 to 100: At this level you have several options. You can continue leveling iron through the firearm. Here you will need 686 pieces:
- 19,208 Iron Ore
- 5,488 Lumber
- 1,372 Coarse Leather
Alternatively, you can craft steel weapons or fishing rods. However, they are more expensive on most servers.
Level 100 to 150: Here we recommend firearms made from Starmetal:
- 1,848 Starmetal Ingots
- 2,079 Lumber
- 462 Coarse Leather
Level 150 to 200: Here, the firearm remains the best choice, this time made from Orichalcum:
- 3,375 Orichalcum Ingots
- 3,375 Lumber
- 750 Coarse Leather
Additionally, starting from level 185, you can craft useful epic weapons with a fixed name. Here it might be worth investing a bit more in resources to get a weapon that will help you further in the game.
