Changes to Combat
General
- Damage scaling has been updated to reduce damage increase when using only one weapon.
- A bug was fixed that prevented attacks or abilities when an activity invitation was accepted in certain menus or interactions.
- A bug was fixed that caused the weapon crosshair to flicker briefly when stowing or switching weapons.
- A bug was fixed that caused weapon crosshairs not to reset when ranged weapons were stowed.
- A bug was fixed that caused weapon crosshairs to remain visible when a weapon was stowed right before a cutscene.
- A bug was fixed that caused effects to play even when no damage was dealt to the target.
- A bug was fixed that caused the “Constitution 50” attribute to stack unintentionally multiple times. Additionally, the health condition was removed and the value reduced to compensate for the permanent activity.
- The “Constitution 50” attribute bonus now grants 1.5% gathering luck instead of tool durability.
- Stamina damage values have been updated to correspond to the same weapon types across all ranks. All ranks now correspond to the stamina value of the rank 5 item.
- Reduced accuracy while jumping has been removed, as no ranged weapon can be fired in this position.
- Improved animation blending when canceling dodges, full-body attacks, and reactions with a ranged attack.
- Magical base attack projectiles appear a few frames earlier to better match the animations.
- The tooltips for some mastery points have been revised to better represent that they increase the base damage of varying attacks.
Targeting
- Key mappings for “Allied Targeting” have been added to the controller key mapping.
- A bug was fixed where attacks missed when the player targeted an enemy and was near them.
- The sensitivity for selecting new enemy and allied targets while targeting has been reduced.
- A bug was fixed that caused “targeting” not to turn off auto-running.
Important Bug Fixes
- A bug was fixed where holding down basic attack and block at the same time prevented the player from blocking.
- A bug was fixed where players could get stuck when performing various targeting/blocking actions and switching weapons while entering a cutscene.
- A bug was fixed where stamina consumption when blocking could cause desynchronization.
- A bug was fixed where players who died while moving in the air could continue moving.
- A bug was fixed where players could dodge twice when using ranged weapons while losing only half the stamina.

Weapons
Bow
- A bug was fixed where Rain of Arrows was not reliably triggered when activated with the skill key during aiming.
- Several bugs were fixed that caused abilities not to buffer properly.
- Targeting abilities (Piercing Shot, Poison Shot, and Rain of Arrows) no longer abort when aiming is started but instead when aiming is released while the abilities are active.
- A bug was fixed where the Rain of Arrows ability effect did not appear at maximum range.
- Piercing Shot should now support quick casting.
- Piercing Shot and Poison Shot can now be fired while crouching.
- A bug was fixed that allowed shooting to occur faster than intended due to ability canceling.
Musket
- A bug was fixed that caused Doubling to have no effect on Mortar Charge.
- A bug was fixed that caused the musket not to reload properly after certain cutscenes.
- A bug was fixed that caused the effect of Fiery Eruption not to apply when switching weapons.
- Doubling now works correctly when weapons are switched after using mortar or fragment grenades.
Fire Staff
- Fire Pillar no longer lightly pushes opponents away.
- A bug was fixed where the explosion sound of Burned from the fire staff played even when the “It’s Getting Hot!” upgrade was not unlocked.
- A bug was fixed that allowed canceling the aim of Fire Pillar with a jump.
- A bug was fixed that allowed Fire Pillar to deal damage twice when used.
- A bug was fixed that prevented targeting of Fire Pillar and Meteor Shower by canceling into other Fire Staff abilities.
Mace
- A bug was fixed that caused Arcane Eruption to occasionally miss downed or crawling enemies.
- A bug was fixed that caused the first hit of Charge to not hit when jumping.
- A bug was fixed that caused the Steamroller upgrade not to properly reduce stamina cost to zero.
- A bug was fixed where the Untouchable Dominance mastery point consistently granted a buff. It now properly grants the buff only when a Tower Shield is equipped.
- The description of the Mace ability, Arcane Shatter, has been updated to make the damage debuff more understandable.
- The tooltip for Defensive Devastation has been updated to make its function clearer.
- A bug was fixed that caused the Mace to spin too much when turning while held down with a controller.
Great Axe
- The passive ability Undaunted Blade for the Great Axe has been updated to grant Courage for 10 frames after charging the heavy attack, to match the functionality of similar passive abilities for the Warhammer and Greatsword.
- A bug was fixed that allowed Howling Rupture to pull targets behind the player instead of to the center of the impact point.
- A bug was fixed that increased the charge speed of the heavy attack in the Great Axe’s devastation stance when the player was exhausted.
- A bug was fixed that caused the passive ability Flawless Defender to not trigger correctly.
- A bug was fixed that allowed the attack and defense stance of the Great Axe to be turned on at the same time.
Hatchet
- A bug was fixed that prevented attacks during Inflicted Throw from buffering.
- Raging Floods can now be redirected using directional inputs when the camera view for melee attacks is disabled.
- A bug was fixed that caused animations to freeze when a hatchet was thrown while jumping.
- A bug was fixed that caused the Wrath upgrade of Frenzied Charge to not apply the damage boost correctly to both hits.
Ice Gauntlet
- A bug was fixed that caused the Ice Pillar to shoot over enemies.
- A bug was fixed that caused the Ice Trap to activate with the breaking of Ensnaring Frost.
- A bug was fixed that caused increased mana regeneration after breaking out of the Ice Trap to persist indefinitely.
- A bug was fixed that prevented characters from responding after opening the inventory while the Ice Trap skill was activating.
- A bug was fixed that caused the Ice Trap to not dissolve correctly when a Heart Rune was activated.
Life Staff
- A bug was fixed that caused ability buffers and cancels to not work in many instances.
- A bug was fixed that caused basic attack buffer issues when using Life and Fire Staff.
- A bug was fixed that allowed Preservation and Beacon to be canceled as soon as their projectiles appeared.
- An option was added to automatically target when a healing skill of the Life Staff is initiated.
- A bug was fixed that caused the passive skill Lightbreaker to not update the bonus duration for the full 5 seconds with each dodge.
Musket
- The “Smoke Grenade Explosion” skill of the musket has been renamed to Ignition so that the name does not overlap with a fire staff skill.
- A bug was fixed that caused critical reloading to trigger with more than 5 seconds between headshots.
- A bug was fixed that caused the graphical effects of the musket’s projectile to occasionally appear in the wrong place.
Rapier
- A bug was fixed that caused the cooldown of Tondo to activate without effect when it was canceled in certain frames with dodging.
- A bug was fixed that caused the backstab effect of the rapier to apply the damage increase of 15% to all damage instead of just the crit damage.
- A bug was fixed that caused the 25 bonus from Strength to function with the bleeding of Whirling Blade.
- The duration of damage over time from the rapier has been reduced from 12 seconds to 10 seconds.
- Rapier: The “And Again” effect now works properly when switching weapons after using Tondo on a single target.
- The damage of the Adagio upgrade of dodging has been reduced from 15% to 10%.
- A bug was fixed that caused “And Again” to only apply after blocking.

Spear
- A bug was fixed that caused weapon switching during the Throw Spear animation to not buffer.
- A bug was fixed that caused the Throw Spear skill of the spear not to activate during a dodge.
- A bug was fixed that caused the passive skill Ruthless Strength not to trigger.
- A bug was fixed that caused the Revitalizing Combo of the Cyclone to inconsistently recognize the two hits.
Unholy Gauntlets
- A bug was fixed that allowed the Scream to hit blocking players.
- A bug was fixed that caused unintended speed bonuses when attacks or dodging with certain abilities were canceled.
- The hitbox of the heavy attack of the Unholy Blade has been slightly enlarged to align with the graphical effects.
- Some issues with hit detection of the Unholy Blade were resolved by slightly increasing the size of the hitboxes.
- A bug was fixed that caused the attacks of the Unholy Blade to trigger the sprint delay from range.
Warhammer
- A bug was fixed that caused the Shockwave ability of the Warhammer to stun enemies 6 frames later than intended.
- With Path of Fate, targeting can now be done after the attack has started using directional inputs when the camera view for melee attacks is disabled.
