Terraformers is a new colony-building and resource management game on Steam. It is rated very positively at 87%. Currently, you can get it 20% cheaper.
Terraformers sends you to Mars with the mission: Build a colony on the red planet. Pay attention to the wishes of the inhabitants, restructure the planet, and discover what Mars has to offer.
The strategy game left Early Access on March 9, 2023, and had its full release on Steam.

What does the gameplay in Terraformers look like? Manage your colony, meet the expectations of the residents, and found new cities to further expand your settlements.
In addition, you send your people out to explore Mars and secure resources. Mine metals and use them to expand the infrastructure, such as a transport system that allows you to exchange between the various settlements.
The building system works through building cards, whose resource requirements you must meet in order to “play out” the desired object and place it. Round by round, the buildings can produce new resources again. However, you must act quickly; if your inhabitants become dissatisfied, it can quickly lead to the end of the game.
Additionally, terraforming must not be missing. Let a volcano erupt or ice asteroids strike the planet to change your environment. You also take care of the settlement of various life forms: from bacteria to bears. However, you must also address their needs, but you can also gain some advantages from the inhabitants.
How do players rate Terraformers? The number of reviews is still manageable: In total, Terraformers has 934 player ratings on Steam. However, 87% of them are positive, making the game perform very well on the platform – including the Early Access reviews.
Many users praise the gameplay of the strategy game, saying it is relaxing to play yet challenging. In addition, some also appreciate the ambiance itself, they like the design of the game.
However, some criticize the gameplay, saying it is boring and repetitive.
