New Steam shooter from Valve receives praise – will conquer the market according to a major streamer

Big Counter-Strike and Valorant streamer plays the alpha of Valve’s new Steam shooter and predicts a new big hit.

Which game is it about? For months, rumors have circulated in the media about a shooter that Valve is currently working on. However, the publisher has remained silent, and we now know that the game is called Deadlock, which has now also received its own Steam page.

However, specific information about the release date or gameplay is currently nowhere to be found there. Instead, you will only find the note that the game is in an early development stage:

However, Valve promises “upcoming” news, and until then, you can check out the gameplay in videos (via YouTube). Visually, it resembles Fortnite, which should be taken with caution due to the early development status and can change at any time.

Which streamer are we talking about? As soon as the floodgate opened, Shroud was one of the first to dive into the game. After more than a dozen hours of gameplay, the former Counter-Strike pro has already made a judgment. Shroud looks to the future with optimism and believes that Deadlock will be the next big thing (via Twitch).

When he played again the next afternoon, the long-time pro and current streamer went into more detail. Even though he has some initial criticisms, mainly regarding Deadlock’s performance, there was mostly praise from Shroud.
