At gamescom, the developers of the Steam hit Splitgate introduced the “first” Season. Starting tomorrow, Season 0 will launch, including a Battle Pass and new content.
What kind of shooter is this? Splitgate is an old-school shooter in the style of Unreal Tournament from indie developer 1047 Games.
The unique aspect of this first-person shooter is that you move around the map using portals. This gives the action-packed battles a completely new dynamic. Therefore, you are never really safe because your opponents could always appear behind you.
The open beta on PlayStation, PC, and Xbox has already been received so well by users, that the developers had to delay the release of Splitgate.
What has been introduced now? Today marks the start of Season 0 of the free-to-play shooter Splitgate.

Free shooter launches with crossplay on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation
Where can you play the game? You can play the game on PC as well as on Xbox and PlayStation (via steampowered.com). Thanks to the crossplay feature, all users can play together.
According to the developers, the update is already online and is currently being rolled out on the platforms:
Here you can compete with other players on various leaderboards and advance in a ranking system. According to the developer, the game will offer more than 15 game modes at release, and you should be able to enjoy more than 20 maps.
