Wartales has now celebrated its major release on Steam after an early access phase. The game is doing very well on the platform with 91% positive ratings.
Wartales is an open-world role-playing game where you lead a group of mercenaries. In search of riches, you travel through a vast medieval world. Recruit additional members for your crew and claim bounties. Additionally, there are some secrets to uncover.
After being in early access on Steam for a long time, it launched now on April 12, 2023, with version 1.0 on Steam.

Explore the medieval world as a mercenary
You command your group of mercenaries by clicking on a large world map. The skills, equipment, and appearance of the crew can be customized. The camp is also customizable, where the characters can rest and regain strength.
You can accept quests and earn your money as a bounty hunter. The battles take place in a turn-based system where you let the characters attack strategically.
The game can be played as a single player, but it also features an online co-op. Up to 4 players can embark on their journey as mercenaries together.
