The makers of Genshin Impact have announced a release date for their upcoming sci-fi RPG, but PS5 players will have to wait.
What kind of game is this? Honkai: Star Rail (PC, PlayStation, Mobile) is a free-to-play sci-fi RPG from the Chinese development studio HoYoverse, known primarily for the successful gacha game Genshin Impact.
Honkai: Star Rail blends science fiction with an anime style and takes you into space. You travel through the galaxy on a train, explore different worlds, and try to resolve conflicts. Along the way, you’ll encounter numerous puzzles and mazes that you must solve.
Additionally, Honkai: Star Rail features a turn-based combat system and various unlockable characters.

Release already in April, except for PlayStation players
When is the release? Honkai: Star Rail will be released on April 26 for PC in the Epic Games Store and on mobile devices (Android, iOS).
In addition, a PlayStation version has been confirmed. However, it is still in development and will not be released in April but at a later date. A specific date for the PlayStation version is currently not available.
If you are interested in the sci-fi RPG, you can pre-register for the release since February. Meanwhile, Honkai: Star Rail has over 10 million registrations.
By reaching over 5 million registrations, the developers are offering all players a series of rewards, including 50,000 credits, the 4-star character Serval, and 15 “Star Rail” passes.
