What happened to the player? PoggersMcGeeYT posted a roughly two-and-a-half-minute montage on Reddit, showcasing a remarkable sequence of events that occurred to him in the first hours of Dune: Awakening.
- At a trading post, the player saw his first Ornithopter, which he had to admire up close. Can this flying machine be stolen? While trying, he got caught in the textures of the craft and couldn’t escape – even when the Ornithopter finally took off.
- Through this kind of passive kidnapping, the player ended up on the pilot’s building, far away from his own base.
- In the next scene, the player can be seen standing on the flying Ornithopter. Is the unintentional kidnapper bringing his victim back?
- Not at all! Suddenly, the aircraft tips sideways, and the player falls into the abyss – only to land in quicksand.
- In his attempt to free himself, a sandworm notices the flailing novice. There is no chance of escaping the massive maw.
