The Overwatch Patch 1.20.0.3 reaches servers for PC, PS4, and Xbox. The update brings major changes to Sombra and minor adjustments for Doomfist and Mei.
For the hero shooter Overwatch, the new Patch 1.20.0.3 is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox. Blizzard has now also released the patch notes in English. In particular, Sombra receives many adjustments here, as was previously announced. Otherwise, the update mainly consists of minor changes.

Hero Updates
Doomfist
- Hand Cannon
- The rate at which ammunition regenerates has been increased from 0.8 to 0.65 seconds per bullet.
The change aims to help Doomfist use his weapon better as part of his combos.
Mei
- Endothermic Blaster
- The duration of the slow has been increased from 1 second to 1.5 seconds.
- The ammunition cost of the alternate fire has been reduced from 25 to 20.
Mei is expected to freeze fast targets like Genji and Lúcio more reliably with the changes. The changes to the alternate fire costs should help it to be used more safely without forgoing freezing.
Sombra
- EMP
- Is no longer blocked by small objects such as street signs.
- Hack
- Now no longer grants ultimate charge for hacked health packs.
- Effect duration reduced from 0.8 to 0.65 seconds.
- Now blocks the following abilities:
- Genji – Cyber Agility
- Hanzo – Wall Climb
- Pharah – Hover Jets
- Lúcio – Healing and speed boost (completely blocks the current song), Wall Ride
- Mercy – Guardian Angel
- Machine Pistol
- Spray has been reduced from 3 to 2.7.
- Opportunist
- Enemy health bars are now visible when health drops below 100% (previously 50%).
- Her ability to see enemies through walls at 50% health remains unchanged.

- Teleportation
- Duration increased from 15 to 20 seconds.
The changes are designed to remove the need for teammates to take damage and heal with hacked packs to give Sombra quick access to her ultimate. EMP will now be available less often, but it blocks more abilities, making it more effective. The changes to Opportunist should allow Sombra to pick targets more easily. All these changes are intended to make her more effective and less reliant on her ultimate.

- Now no longer shows enemy health bars unless they have taken damage.
Bug Fixes
General
- A bug was fixed that prevented capture-the-flag statistics from being displayed in the career profile when a match was played on Ayutthaya in the arcade.
Maps
- A bug was fixed that sometimes prevented announcer voice lines on Blizzard World from playing.
