The World Championship of League of Legends has started. In a new music video for Worlds 2025, some participants are depicted as gods and tribute is paid to a deceased player.
What is this music video about? On the YouTube channel of League of Legends, a music video was uploaded at the start of Worlds 2025 on October 14 to get fans excited for the event. As usual, many of the participants are portrayed in an animated trailer with the new Worlds song as the superstars of the MOBA. This time they are even shown as true gods.
The music video was supposed to be released earlier, but Riot announced that they had revised the trailer. Pro player Bwipo, who had attracted attention just weeks before Worlds due to misogynistic comments, was cut out afterwards.
