League of Legends (LoL) introduces the new co-op PvE mode Odyssey. It also brings new skins into the game.

What happens in the trailer? In the featured trailer, Jinx explains that she would like to have you on her crew. Together, you will free Ziggs from an alien planet.
New mode, new skins
How does the mode work? The co-op mode is designed for teams of five players. There are five difficulty levels.
With RPG elements: During your matches, you collect “Augments” that improve your champions’ strength. This should allow you to successfully complete the higher difficulty levels. These augments are said to last permanently for the Odyssey mode and do not get lost.
What new skins are there? Look forward to skins for Ziggs, Sona, Jinx, Yasuo, and Malphite. There’s also a legendary skin for Kayn.
Testing will be skipped: Normally, such events are sufficiently tested on the PBE servers, but Odyssey is coming with patch 8.18 on September 12. So, they hope everything goes smoothly and works without bugs.
How long will the mode be available? Odyssey will be active in League of Legends from September 12 to October 8.
So far, there are unfortunately no in-game images of the new Odyssey mode. Riot seems to want to keep everything secret for now and then reveal the surprise on Wednesday.
