The new MMORPG Pax Dei has announced its second alpha test. More than 100,000 players are expected to participate in the alpha test of the social sandbox MMORPG.
What kind of MMORPG is this? The MMORPG Pax Dei describes itself as a social-sandbox MMORPG, distinguished not only by typical MMORPG elements such as PvP, crafting, leveling, and looting but especially through its base building.
The developers focus heavily on giving players the opportunity to build amazing structures. In clans, players are supposed to create entire villages and produce all the goods they need themselves.
With the medieval setting, players in past tests have constructed entire castles and already demonstrated what should be the strength of Pax Dei with the available tools.
The mix of MMORPG and survival game sounds interesting to many players, which is why the second alpha test now allows 100,000 of them to play for a week. The test is set to start on April 23, and players who want to participate must first register in advance for a chance.

How to sign up for the Pax Dei Alpha
How does registration work? You can sign up for the Pax Dei alpha until April 15, 2024. The registration for the Pax Dei alpha takes place on the website of the MMORPG .
On the website, you will find a large registration button where you can sign up for the game. There, you first need to register an account and verify your email. Once you have done that, you should be able to click on “My Account” in the top right corner.
There you will find the “Alpha access” section where you can press the “Opt in” button. There, you need to link your Steam account, as well as specify the country in which you live. The developers would also like to know what device you are using to play Pax Dei.
One more tip, if you want to play with your friends: You can generate a friend token below. If you all have the same token, you will likely be invited as a group to test the game.
How can I increase my chances? To increase your chances of being able to participate in the alpha, you should also link a Discord account to your account. You can do this on the website as well. The developers have revealed that this increases the chance of getting into the alpha.
What’s new in the “Wilderness Alpha”
What has changed since the last alpha? Since the last alpha, the developers have worked on five points.
- The stats of equipment and consumables have been revised. You can choose from hundreds of items to define your class.
- The enemies of Pax Dei are now stronger and should pose a real threat to players.
- New spells, combat abilities, and weapon types have been added. Items now also have durability and can become unusable.
- With the new update, there will be PvP in the game for the first time. There will be a separate province where PvP is allowed.
- Crafting, base building, recipes, and progression systems have been revised and expanded.
