In the new MMORPG Eternal Tombs, game masters are set to provide an unforgettable experience. The developers now show us how things are currently going.
What kind of MMORPG is this? Eternal Tombs is an MMORPG that puts game masters in the spotlight. They are aptly named Tombmasters in the game and are responsible for ensuring players have unforgettable adventures. They can trap players in dungeons, set traps, or spawn bosses, thus customizing the game experience.
Besides the game masters, the MMORPG aims to offer an open world with six different classes in a sandbox environment. Features are said to include player-owned shops, thousands of different monster types, a sophisticated crafting system, and PvP castle sieges.

How far along are the developers? In their Update post on Steam, the developers announced that the MMORPG is fully developed. According to the post, they are currently focusing on polishing the game and fixing bugs.
In addition to many revisions, the developers have completed 14 more areas since the last test that no player has seen yet.
In their new video, the developers also gave first insights into the farming system related to the lumberjack skill. Similar to the Amazon MMORPG New World, it is expected to feature various trees of different rarity grades that can be processed after cutting down.
The new monster blood system has also been introduced. Players will receive “monster blood” for each defeated mob, which they can spend on abilities and enhancements.
When will the MMORPG be released? Eternal Tombs aims to forgo early access and release as a full version. To achieve this, the developers want to have their changes tested again by players.
The next and likely final test of the MMORPG is expected to take place in October. To participate, players can simply express their interest in the game test at Steam. Once the test begins, players will receive an email invitation.
Depending on how the playtest goes, a release in 2025 is also conceivable. Given that the developers are already finished with the features of the game and are only focusing on polishing, it likely hinges on player feedback. This will determine how many changes Eternal Tombs still needs to implement and whether it will be released in 2025 or postponed to the following year.
