With EVE Echoes, you can expect an MMORPG that is basically a mobile version of the space MMO EVE Online. The release date has now been officially set, and the community is very excited.
What is EVE Echoes? It is essentially a mobile variant of the well-known space MMO EVE Online. However, it is not a 1:1 adaptation of the classic.
The developers at CCP Games, however, want to create an “authentic EVE Online experience” for mobile devices, in which every player experiences their own story in a galaxy that “represents over 8000 planetary systems.”
The mobile MMO is being developed in collaboration with the Chinese developer NetEase, who are also working on the new MMORPG The Ragnarök.
One of the biggest changes compared to the original EVE Online is the introduction of a new race. The Yan Jung present a mystery to be unraveled, bringing a bit of story into the game.

Who is the game worth it for? EVE Echoes aims, as already mentioned, to provide the most authentic EVE gaming experience possible. This means you will experience a sandbox universe where you determine what role you play.
- Do you want to be a space pirate who robs traders?
- Or do you want to found a large corporation and lead it to financial success?
- Do you want to belong to an alliance and participate in epic space battles?
EVE Echoes allows you to do all this and more – and all from your phone. Even when you are on the move, you manage your alliance or corporation, plan attacks or deliveries.
Furthermore, EVE Echoes provides an excellent opportunity to accompany an EVE experience from the very start. EVE Online, the big brother on PC, has been running since 2003. This somewhat discourages some newcomers because there are already large and powerful organizations in the game. Competing at the top is possible but involves a lot of effort.
In contrast, with EVE Echoes, you are there from the beginning, which creates a fair starting basis for every interested player. EVE Online has also developed into a phenomenon, and with the mobile game, you now have the chance to be part of something big from the start.
When is the game coming out? CCP Games has now set the release date for August 13th. Then you can download EVE Echoes from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store for Android and iOS devices.
EVE Echoes will launch as a free-to-play game with some limitations. For example, you cannot learn all skills and cannot pilot all spaceships.
However, according to the Facebook page, you can remove these limitations for $4.99 a month. If you pay $12.99 or even $14.99 a month, you will receive skill points faster.
