When will the new update for Fortnite arrive? At 2:00 PM German time, players will be prompted to download the new patch on all platforms. The game version will not change, but you can still look forward to new content.
Furthermore, according to Epic, there will be no server downtime. You only need to download the update and can then continue playing immediately. But what exactly will come with the patch?
What’s included in the update for Fortnite: Battle Royale: That Epic wants to revise the campfires has been known for a few days. After the update, you will find more campfires on the map (not as an item) and can use them normally. Furthermore, you will still find the campfire as a consumable item.
The campfire will also reportedly play a role in unlocking stage 3 of the prisoner, the bonus skin from Season 7, according to various leaks and rumors.
In addition to the apples that regenerate health and the mushrooms that increase your shield, a third regeneration item will be added, which you can find directly on the map.
Alongside the campfire, a new item is coming to the battle royale mode. The bottle rocket is already heavily discussed. While many players fear similar dominance as with turrets, others are looking forward to launching things into the air.
How strong the rocket will actually be remains to be seen. It is also unclear whether another weapon or item will be removed from the game in exchange. Furthermore, Epic will probably again have some bug fixes this week.
What the update brings for the PvE mode Save the World: More detailed information for the PvE part of Fortnite is not yet known. Based on the announcement on Reddit, players expect that the new hero Zenith will come into the game today. He is already present in the databases as a mythical Outlander.
