What is happening today in Fortnite? Since the beginning of Season 10, it seems that Epic has reserved Tuesdays for new patches and maintenance work. Last week, the new version 10.10 was supposed to go live on Tuesday, but it had to be postponed due to issues. Instead, there were many discussions about a dog.
Today, you will be prompted to download a patch that will not change the game version 10.10, but is supposed to offer new content. The twist: You won’t have to endure any maintenance.

Content Patch 10.10 in Fortnite – When and How Big?
When does the new patch come? It is expected to be around 2:00 PM German time, possibly a few minutes earlier or later. Then you will be prompted to download a patch. There will be no downtime, so you can immediately jump back in after the download.
How large will the update be? If Epic is not planning any massive features that are still unknown, the download size will be similar to previous content updates and not larger than a few hundred megabytes.
What’s included in the Fortnite Update 10.10?
Here’s what’s new in the Battle Royale mode: According to the in-game message, players can look forward to a new item, the Rifts. The functionality is already clear. Once activated, items will be thrown from the Rift at your enemy.
These items will likely cause damage to your opponents depending on their size. Which objects can come from these Rifts is still unknown, but leaks are already predicting dinosaurs, police cars, and other crazy stuff:

What’s included in the update for Save the World mode: According to the developer roadmap for August, only a few new features will be added today:
