In Pokémon GO there are new offer boxes in the shop for the plant event. We show you what’s available and whether purchasing the boxes is worth it.
These boxes are available: Along with the plant event, new offer boxes also came to the shop. They contain all sorts of useful items that you can use for effective gameplay.
What’s included in the offer boxes
This is how it’s calculated: To determine if the offer is worthwhile, the single price of the item is calculated from an 8-item bundle. This price is then compared with the box price, providing us with a result.

This is new: It seems that Niantic has introduced a new adventure box that competes with the hyper box. The hyper box is primarily designed for raiders, while the adventure box offers more egg hatching opportunities. So there are two different box styles.
Are the boxes worth it?
Special Box: The box costs the least coins, but also saves the least. The Ultra Balls might be interesting for the upcoming Community Day, and the other items provide a small basic setup. If you have few coins, buying it is not a mistake, but you will not miss anything if you don’t buy it.
Super Box: There is surprisingly a large savings here. Especially the 6 Star Pieces are worthwhile if you complete the current plant quests, as you will gain a lot of Stardust.
Hyper Box: This box is especially for those who like to go raiding. With 16 passes, you get a good basic setup and can defeat several Dialga. All other items are rather scarce. So if you don’t raid much, you should not buy this box.
Adventure Box: This offer is especially interesting for Community Day. You hatch eggs four times faster. Therefore, it’s worth having a good supply of incubators, which are provided in the adventure box. However, you do not receive any raid passes here.
