Borderlands 4 is gradually introducing the new characters. And the third one, Amon, is getting a really good reception.
The release of Borderlands 4 is getting closer. And meanwhile, more and more details about the new characters in the game are coming out.
This is Amon: Amon is officially known as the “Knight of the Forge.” The massive giant resembles a barbarian or Viking but is also referred to as a “Warrior-Poet.” While he is a man for the rough stuff, he is also a warm-hearted and clever guy.
His backstory is quite nasty: He grew up in a cult that worshipped chamber monsters. But as it always goes, things went wrong and a chamber monster killed everyone and everything Amon loved.
Therefore, his story is marked by revenge: He wants to destroy as many chamber monsters as possible.
How does Amon play? The new gameplay overview recently released shows it:

The gameplay trailer showcases Amon’s wide-ranging abilities. The warrior can, for example, use powerful elemental axes that he throws at his enemies. He also has the option to deploy a gigantic shield that absorbs damage—only to throw it back at the enemy in the form of an energy whip.
Moreover, it’s visible how Amon strikes with a huge hammer, rains down a sword on the enemy, or pounds him with armored fists.
All of this is received quite well by the fans, as one can see in the comments:
