Perfect World and Cryptic Studios are pleased to announce that more than two million players are now playing the MMORPG Neverwinter on the Playstation 4.
In total, 12 million players are reported to own Neverwinter on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4. However, there are no figures available regarding the active player counts. The two million players on PS4 have now been reached in celebration of this version’s two-month “anniversary” of release. This is of course celebrated in-game with the following events:
Perfect World and Cryptic Studios also announce several milestones that players have reached since the PS4 version released on July 12. These include:
Over 2 million players on Playstation 4
Over 12 million adventurers across all three platforms (PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4)
3.2 million characters created, of which 30,000 have already reached max level
1.6 billion minutes of Neverwinter gameplay on PS4
50 billion Astral Diamonds earned
18 million mounts received
11,000 guilds created
Players enjoying Neverwinter on consoles can look forward to the upcoming release of the new expansion “Storm King’s Thunder.” The new adventure is set to be released this fall for Playstation 4 and Xbox One, while PC players can already experience it.
