There are some changes to the ZEN market of the MMORPG Neverwinter. The fashion items have been removed.
Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios are currently working on larger changes to the ZEN market, which finances the MMORPG Neverwinter. One of the changes has now been implemented, as it is no longer possible to purchase fashion items through it.
Fashion is now bought differently
Instead, these in-game items can now be purchased in the Tarmalune Trade Bar Store for trade bars. Here is a list of the changes:
All fashion, dye bottles, and dye packs will be removed from the ZEN market.
The Air Elemental Cultist Pack will be removed from the ZEN market. The Air Elemental Cultist companion can still be purchased individually.
The appearance change is still available in the services category.
A complicated simplification
The reason for this change is that they want to simplify the system. For many players, it is a difficult decision whether to buy fashion items or items that serve convenience. Therefore, they wanted to make purchasing fashion items more interesting. The fashion items will now have more uniform prices, and you will pay nearly the same in Lockbox keys as you would have for the individual items in the ZEN market.
The difference is that you now additionally find more bonus items in the chests. So you get more for your money – not just the fashion items you wanted to buy, but also additional surprises.
The players’ reactions to this change are not particularly positive. Because now you have to buy the trade bars with real money in the ZEN shop, purchase the lockboxes for those, to then access the fashion items. It doesn’t sound very much like a simplification…
