With the new expansion Tomb of Annihilation for the MMORPG Neverwinter, you will be taken into the jungle of Chult. What awaits you there is revealed by the developers in the new developer diary.
The jungles of Chult are a dangerous place in the fantasy world of the Forgotten Realms. But this is exactly where you travel during the new campaign. You will reach the port city of Port Nyanzaru, which is located on the northern coast of the peninsula of Chult. There, you will meet the merchant prince Wakanga O’tamu, the ruler of the last bastion of civilization in this dangerous wilderness. From Port Nyanzaru, you will travel to the Soshenstar river basin, where you will encounter dangerous dinosaurs and cannibals.
Repeatable Quests
In the ancient ruins of long-forgotten civilizations, further dangers await you. You will find the isolated field camp of the Glove Order, which urgently needs support in fending off the undead hordes. There is plenty for you to do in the jungle of Chult. This includes daily repeatable quests that you can complete alongside the story missions, helping you to progress faster.
New Rewards
The daily missions will also grant you large amounts of currency. To get an overview of the currency you have already earned and what you can still collect before the limit is reached, a corresponding display will be introduced.
Additionally, there is an adjustment to the blessings in the game. You can freely use the first three points for different blessings: increases in strength, regeneration, toughness, and damage against dinosaurs or defense against dinosaurs. For each of these blessings, you can invest up to three points to enhance the effect.
Furthermore, you can acquire new rewards through the campaign store, including additional armor pieces from two different sets. And once you have progressed in the story and completed important tasks, the dangerous dungeon “Tomb of the Nine Gods” will open for you!
The Tomb of Annihilation expansion will be released on July 25th on PC.
