With the upcoming adventure module Tomb of Annihilation, a death trap awaits you in the MMORPG Neverwinter: The Tomb of the Nine Gods!
The adventures in Tomb of Annihilation will take you to the dangerous jungle of Chult. There, in the heart of the rainforest, lies the final resting place of the Nine Trickster Gods of Omu, guarded by a powerful and malevolent creature that seeks to lure all into the Tomb of the Nine Gods. The lich Acererak wants to trap the mightiest heroes of the Forgotten Realms in this death trap.
A dungeon full of traps!
No one has ever managed to come out of the tomb alive. But that will certainly change once you step over the threshold. As you step cautiously into the ancient crypt, you can hear the tormented cries of the souls who were here before you. What dangers may await you? Rumor has it that the Tomb of the Nine Gods is crawling with traps. But there is also a legendary treasure that will make those who defy the dangers rich.
This dungeon is an epic lair that requires far greater group coordination than any previous vault. You can expect dangerous boss fights and you must try to survive the numerous traps. The lich Acererak will track your every step and mock and scold you. With this, he seeks to lure you deeper into the vault, where ever more perilous challenges await.
Only mighty heroes may enter the tomb
To enter the Tomb of the Nine Gods, you must first complete the quest “Blessing of Ubtao,” which is part of the new campaign “Jungles of Chult.” Additionally, your character must have an item level of at least 12,000.
