The Frost Giants are here and threatening Icewind Dale! You must stop them in the new adventure module Storm King’s Thunder of the MMORPG Neverwinter.
Storm King’s Thunder is the tenth expansion for Neverwinter, which takes you back to Icewind Dale. There, Frost Giants have launched an invasion and you must quickly reach the city of Bryn Shander to protect it from an attack. Afterwards, it is your task to find out why the Frost Giants have suddenly become so aggressive. During the adventure, you will fight your way through three new adventure zones:
Bryn Shander – In the largest of the Ten Towns, you are to fend off the attack of monsters, for which you team up with the heroes Catti-brie, Wulfgar, and Harshnag.
Lonelywood – After saving Bryn Shander, you travel to Lonelywood. There, trolls and other beasts spread chaos.
Cold Run – Finally, you will reach the coast of Cold Run, where you will confront the mighty Frost Giants.
Prepare for great challenges!
In addition, at the end of the adventure, you can expect Fangbreaker Island, a new high-level area for five players and another endgame content where you must fight against several boss enemies. Fangbreaker Island represents the greatest challenge yet in the MMO. Additionally, in Storm King’s Thunder, you will see the beginnings of the revised class balance, especially in the three classes Vigilant Ranger, Devastating Warlock, and Protector Fighter.
Face new bosses, monsters, and further challenges starting now in Storm King’s Thunder. The module is now available for the PC version of Neverwinter. The versions for Playstation 4 and Xbox One will follow at a later date.
