That it’s quite gloomy in the survival MMORPG The Black Death is shown in a new trailer.
The Black Death transports you to the dark Middle Ages during the time of the plague. The graphics alone, which miss vibrant and rich colors, illustrate how bleak this time was and how equally desolate the game is.
The world is cruel
A new trailer for the game has now been released. In it, you can see bandits lurking and murdering others. You see hangings, corpses, houses where the plague has broken out, and beggars who are on the brink of starvation. The world of The Black Death is dirty and cruel. Those who do not fall victim to the plague may end up in the hands of bandits or be torn apart by wild animals in the wilderness. Theft, murder, poaching… the desperate inhabitants of the world try everything to stay alive.
Therefore, survival elements also play an important role. You must not get infected with the plague and should therefore avoid places where the disease is still raging. Furthermore, you need to consume food – which must also not be spoiled.

The Black Death is currently in Early Access and can be purchased and played for around 20 euros via Steam. Since it is not yet a finished version, balancing issues, crashes, and bugs are to be expected. However, the developers are working hard to improve the MMORPG in cooperation with the testers and continuously integrate new features.
